
General Ledger:
- Review the Monthly Accounting Entry Sheet (MAES), communicate and document all month-end journal entries (accruals/cut-offs) to the SSC in a timely manner.
- Verify and communicate stock-in-transit booking entries to SSC.
- Ensure provisions for risks and liabilities specific to the site are tracked and documented, confirming the completeness of accruals managed by the Business Unit.
- Oversee fixed asset tracking, including progress of assets, depreciation start dates, site documentation (proof of service entry), physical inventory, write-off requests, and depreciation accruals for delayed activations.
Business Unit Closing Binder:
- Prepare the Business Unit Closing Binder with data from SSC and the site (standard supporting documents, employee pension fund accruals, etc.) and obtain validation from the Site Financial Controller.
- Participate in the monthly review of the closing binder with SSC and site representatives.
- Contribute to the action plan developed during the review session.
Account Payables/Receivables:
- Address, resolve, and communicate supplier/customer disputes to SSC, ensuring progress is tracked.
- Resolve pending booking entries such as unmatched invoices (manual or EDI) with Purchase Orders/Delivery Notes.
- Notify and communicate to SSC any logistics or quality-related incidents.
- Ensure customer prerequisites for invoicing (e.g., prototypes, tooling, R&D, intercompany) are fulfilled in Accounts Receivable.
- Coordinate travel expenses for the dedicated site through the Shared Services Center.
- Scan Accounts Payable invoices using the SSC integration system, ensuring accurate cost allocations (P&L accounts, cost centers, etc.).
Archiving:
- Responsible for local financial archiving, in collaboration with SSC.
- Archive invoices and supporting documentation related to the site that is not centralized in SSC.
- Contribute to the Group Ethics & Compliance program by adhering to the code of ethics and Valeo’s policies.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Fluency in at least two languages, with English being mandatory.
