Sales Analyst


    Responsibilities

    Functional Responsibilities:

    • Support the senior leadership team of the PepsiCo Franchise (typically LG1+) by providing regular reporting against established performance metrics, as well as responding to ad-hoc reporting requests.
    • Oversee all financial and planning reporting for the assigned market, ensuring high accuracy and timely delivery. The accuracy of these reports plays a critical role in making major spending decisions, potentially affecting millions of dollars, and acts as a control layer beyond the Franchise Directors, whom the analyst supports.
    • Collaborate with Cluster Commercial Leadership to review and refine reporting requirements, ensuring the reports are relevant, meaningful, and user-friendly to support effective decision-making.
    • Analyze large and complex data sets across multiple categories, channels, and customers, identifying key opportunities by Customer/Channel. The role involves not only compiling data but also deriving actionable insights that enhance business understanding. This is particularly important as the Franchise team is small and lacks additional data insight resources.
    • Develop on-demand reports to increase agility and provide easier access with enhanced visualization.
    • Collect, organize, and format large datasets across multiple channels, customers, and sales areas, analyzing data to derive meaningful insights on performance trends and opportunities.
    • Present insights and recommendations to the Franchise Leadership team monthly in a clear, concise, and professional manner. The Franchise Analyst will deliver presentations for the Franchise Director, who will then present them to the Bottler or Franchise BU GM to inform investment decisions or spend performance tracking.
    • Support Commercial Analytics functional excellence by evaluating new technologies to enhance GBS service offerings, with a focus on improving the current quality of MS Excel-based reports and enabling Power BI and other technology-driven dashboards for agile, visually enriched reporting.
    • Contribute to business development and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at driving growth and efficiency within both the Cluster and GBS Hub.
    • Assist with fund reconciliation between the Bottler and PepsiCo, and support the BU Franchise Finance and Controls teams by tracking approved spends and ensuring activities completed by the bottler align with the approved budgets, while regularly updating on remaining budgets.

    People Responsibilities:

    • Develop strong daily interaction with senior leadership in the market, working across various functions including Franchise Directors, BU Finance, and Planning & Controls teams.
    • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the bottler staff, within the Franchise Cluster Commercial function, integrating GBS Commercial Analytics services within the organization.
    • Serve as a point of contact and trusted business partner for the Franchise Cluster Commercial team, participating in operational review calls with key stakeholders and business leaders.
    • Assist the Reporting & Analytics Lead and Cluster Sales Lead with initiatives aimed at improving GBS service offerings.

    Qualifications

    Essential:

    • Fluency in English with excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different situations and audiences.
    • Proven experience with MS Excel (advanced level), Power BI, and commercial analytics tools.
    • Ability to work collaboratively and proactively with multi-functional teams.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
    • Experience with SAP and SAP BI.

    Good to Have:

    • Familiarity with AI tools for reporting and analytics.
    • Background in finance.
