Team Lead – Ultra Fast Grocery (UFG) Operations | Egypt
We are seeking a Team Lead to manage our Ultra Fast Grocery (UFG) Under the Roof (UTR) operations in Egypt. In this role, you will take ownership of end-to-end store operations, driving performance, ensuring customer satisfaction, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily UTR operations across one large site or multiple small sites, ensuring smooth store performance.
- Achieve customer-facing metrics while maintaining operational quality standards, safety, and team morale.
- Lead and manage your team by driving performance management, coaching, and creating training & development plans for pickers.
- Collaborate with merchant stakeholders to improve processes and deliver sustained performance gains.
- Conduct daily 4M / 5S and Safety GEMBA audits to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
- Act as a stand-in for the Area Manager when required.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in a customer-facing environment, warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Flexibility and ability to travel to different stores within Egypt.

- Self-motivated with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Strong execution skills with a results-driven mindset.
- Resourceful and able to deliver results with limited resources.
- Comfortable working under pressure and ambiguity, with problem-solving agility.
- Solid people management, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- 1–3 years of experience managing processes and teams in a lead role.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with SQL is a plus.
