
What You’ll Be Doing
- Oversee all financial operations for the travel retail division, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to track and assess business performance.
- Deliver financial insights and analysis to guide commercial strategies, pricing, and category management decisions.
- Manage core accounting processes such as payables, receivables, and reconciliations in compliance with corporate policies.
- Monitor cash flow and working capital, ensuring optimal use of company funds and financial efficiency.
- Develop, track, and analyze sales and expense KPIs, highlighting trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
- Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities to ensure full compliance with financial and legal obligations.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to enhance margins, promotions, and cost structures.
- Support management in investment evaluations, feasibility studies, and ROI analyses for strategic initiatives.
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls and financial policies to safeguard company assets.
- Lead, guide, and develop finance team members to ensure consistent performance and professional growth.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; a Master’s degree is an advantage.
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA, or CA) is highly preferred.
- 7–10 years of progressive experience in finance, including at least 3 years in retail, travel retail, or FMCG industries.
- Solid understanding of retail financial operations, including sales reporting, margin management, and stock control.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
