Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and update accounting records using QuickBooks Desktop.
- Prepare, review, and interpret financial statements, reconciliations, and billing documents.
- Handle payroll processes, accounts payable/receivable, and expense management.
- Contribute to cost reporting, contract compliance, and monitoring of funding lines.
- Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and overall financial planning.
- Assist in audits and maintain financial records related to contracts.
- Suggest and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and workflows.
Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop preferred) and Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and other Office applications.
- Experience with government contracting or readiness to learn.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (preferred, not mandatory).
