    Main Duties:

    Communication & Customer Support:

    • Ensure all telephone calls are answered within DHL criteria by providing a great degree of professionalism and customer care.
    • Deal often with consumers to solve customs clearance problems and coordinate efficiently with other DHL locations.
    • Gather exact and current information from clients by phone or email to speed up clearance procedures.
    • Keep in consistent contact with both external and internal clients about held shipments.
    • Provide customers with technical support and settle conflicts.

    Customs clearance and operations:

    • Coordinate with customs authorities on taxes due and problematic shipments to settle disagreements.
    • Get information from systems (DCC/DCE/CIA/GIA/GEMA) to advise clients of arrival and status and so ensure pre-clearance efficiency.
    • Before dispatching for delivery, make sure all shipments contain a Bill of Entry and a charge notice.
    • Make sure original documents are taken from the warehouse for quick and effective clearance.

    Administration and Process Management

    • To meet network criteria, scan papers, gather data from systems, and create checkpoints.
    • Make sure the network can clearly see the shipment’s present state by updating DCE handbook notes.
    • Maintain client databases to gather new data and track recent shipping conditions.
    • At their greatest level of performance, all KPIs should be kept and reported to the Manager/Supervisor for action.

    Qualifications:

    • Degree of bachelor.
    • Customer Service, Logistics, or Clearance experience would be highly welcomed.
