HR Ops Specialist


    Job Description Summary
    In this role, you will be responsible for executing various HR processes and providing support across all HR service areas, including onboarding, offboarding, Workday data updates, reporting, and metrics. You will develop a comprehensive understanding of the company’s HR systems and processes, ensuring data accuracy and analytical insights to support key HR decisions. The role involves addressing operational challenges, driving process improvements, and delivering exceptional service while collaborating effectively with internal teams and external partners.


    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Respond to employee and HR service requests, process transactions in HR systems, and handle escalations and inquiries.
    • Lead or support HR Service Delivery operations, including reporting, employee data management, employee lifecycle activities, HR systems assistance, and issue resolution.
    • Apply general business knowledge gained through education or experience to daily tasks.
    • Understand how the team’s work contributes to overall HR operations.
    • Resolve issues by following established procedures, seeking guidance from supervisors or senior team members when needed.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to address challenges and ensure smooth operations.
    • For customer-facing functions, build strong relationships and act as the point of contact between employees and HR.
    • Perform accurate data entry, verifying and correcting information as necessary.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR or a related function.
    • Ability to work effectively across multiple teams and departments.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel).
    • Fluency in English.

    Desired Characteristics

    • Fluency in French is an advantage.
    • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to identify and escalate issues appropriately.
