Implementation Analyst


    Responsibilities in this role:

    • Provide effective project management assistance to Visa clients and processors, ensuring client expectations are not only met but surpassed.
    • Collaborate closely with clients to analyze and define the card program setup requirements, while implementing Visa’s products and services to meet business goals and creating tailored implementation strategies.
    • Regularly report project progress, milestones, and deliverables to management on a weekly or monthly basis.
    • Manage multiple client projects simultaneously, alongside product development, all while adapting to a rapidly changing landscape.
    • Address complex, non-routine processing requests, as well as immediate tactical and strategic customer initiatives.
    • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance processes for better team productivity and more efficient project delivery to clients.
    • Foster and maintain strong relationships with key Visa clients, processors, and internal teams to ensure smooth collaboration.
    • Develop a cohesive global team and ensure active involvement from global workgroups in communication and decision-making.
    • Keep detailed records of project plans, status updates, and issue resolutions.
    • Represent the client’s technical and operational needs to internal Visa teams, maintaining professional communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
    • Take full responsibility for achieving project objectives, ensuring personal accountability for assigned tasks, and solving issues independently to ensure timely delivery.
    • Empower decision-making within the project to ensure seamless execution of goals.
    • Coordinate with Visa’s internal resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and according to commitments.
    • This role requires flexibility with working hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate client needs and post-production tasks.

    Why this position is critical for Visa:

    This role is pivotal in coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve the project’s objectives. When necessary, it will involve escalating risks or delays and collaborating with management from both Visa and the client organization to gather necessary resources and resolve issues. The role requires independence in technical and functional decision-making, with guidance provided only in complex cases.

    This is a hybrid role, and the number of office days required will be determined by your hiring manager.


    Qualifications:

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree or an advanced degree (e.g., Master’s, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD).
    • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field, or equivalent experience in a business analyst role within software or financial services.
    • At least 5 years of experience in Information Technology, with a solid understanding of project management, technology, and applications.
    • Hands-on experience with API onboarding, testing, and troubleshooting in both staging and production environments.
    • Fluent in English, both spoken and written, as this role involves interacting with stakeholders from regions including the US, India, and Singapore.
    • Experience managing projects in retail banking, card schemes, or emerging technologies within the payments industry.
    • Familiarity with Visa’s payment systems, such as message routing, authorization, clearing & settlement, and client connectivity is an advantage.
    • Proficiency in French is required.
